Global Youth Action Project

This project aims to involve youth clubs, community groups and individuals in activities that raise awareness of global issues and to understand the effect they have on life in Lancashire. Each year, youth groups from different parts of Lancashire will take part in projects that will seek to create new and exciting ways of telling others about many of the most important issues affecting people all over the world. The project is being developed with partner DEC's in Cambridge, Derby, Leeds and Somerset. As part of the project a website has been created for young people involved to share their ideas and learn from their peers. Funded by the Big Lottery Fund via the DEA, as part of the national Global Youth Action project.
