Olympics and Paraplympics 2012: Heroes and Heroines
A full-day inspirational workshop for KS2 children exploring themes of values, diversity, interdependence and global citizenship through a range of fun, participatory and engaging activities based on Olympic and Paralympic heroes and heroines.
Go Fairtrade!
A full-day programme of games and activities designed to get children thinking about fairness, global connections, world trade and the basics of Fairtrade; how does it work? How can it change lives? How can we get involved? This workshop can contribute to achieving the Fairtrade Schools Award.
Wants or Needs: Rights of the Child
A half-day workshop for KS2 children exploring themes of 'needs and wants'; rights and responsibilities through a range of fun participatory and engaging activities.
LGEC's fully qualified and experienced staff will come into your school and deliver these workshops to Key Stage 2 classes.
