New training date added: 'Introduction to Global Schools Partnerships'

Lancashire Global Education Centre offers high-quality CPD training to teachers, education professionals, youth workers, managers and front-line workers in the statutory, voluntary and community sectors. Our trainings are also useful to anyone with an interest in global learning, equality and diversity, community cohesion or sustainable development. Our trainers are specialist education professionals and qualified teachers with significant skills, knowledge and experience.

In 2010, we are celebrating our 30th year of working with schools and communities throughout Lancashire. Our trainings are designed to enable you and your school, college or youth group to incorporate a global dimension into programmes and the curriculum.

LGEC provides learning for primary and secondary school teachers on a range of subject areas and themes. This learning can be designed to fit teachers' needs and their school's needs.

This learning can be in the form of INSET, workshops or lectures, examples of which are:
