The Governor's Role in Education for Sustainable Development at College. An event for Governors of Further Education Colleges. Tuesday 6th December 2011 4:30-6:30pm at Lancashire Global Education Centre.
We were delighted that Alison Page, a Governor of Lancaster and Morecambe College since 2003, spoke at the event, sharing her experience of sustainable development within college governance. As well as acting as a college governor, Alison is Chief Executive of Furniture Matters (a local re-use and training charity) and plays a strategic role in a variety of other sustainability initiatives. Participants also learned more about the Sustainable Skills project, networked with Governors from colleges across the northwest, enjoyed festive refreshments and claimed their ‘goody bag' of useful resources to take away with them.
