There are many different ways in which schools link, some of the main link activities include:

• Joint planning and developing of curriculum activities,
• Joint CPD
• Exchange of 'real' information to enhance curriculum activities,
• School visits/exchanges (only advised once the partnership between teachers and classes have been established).

There are also different themes for school linking. For example, rural/urban links, cultural diversity links and links between Special schools and mainstream schools.
