The 'Global Youth Action' project involves youth clubs, community groups and individuals in activities that raise awareness of global issues and the effects these issues have on life in Lancashire. Each year, youth groups from different parts of Lancashire are taking part in projects that create new and exciting ways of telling others about the most important issues affecting people all over the world.

The project is being developed with partner Development Education Centres in Cambridge, Derby, Leeds and Somerset. As part of the project, a website has been created for young people involved to share their ideas and learn from their peers.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund via Think Global, as part of the national Global Youth Action project.
