LGEC's Trustees have overall collective responsibility for the direction and financial stability of the organisation. LGEC is a company limited by guarantee. Our Trustees also serve as Directors of the company.
We value our Trustees because they:
- Play an essential role in enabling the organisation to continue its work.
- Bring new skills and ideas, and help to develop existing ones related to developing an organisation engaged in specialist work.
- Learn about a range of issues including the global dimension in education, social exclusion, youth work, volunteering, and many more.
The majority of meetings take place at LGEC offices in Preston. Occasionally meetings and away days take place at other locations of the Board's choosing.
Present Trustees:
- Philip Ashton
