Lancashire Global Education Centre works in the formal education and community sectors to ensure that people in Lancashire learn about global issues such as poverty and sustainable development.
We do this by running a range of projects, workshops, training and events in schools, colleges and communities across Lancashire and the North West. Our areas of expertise include school linking, global youth work, education for sustainable development, and Fairtrade, amongst other global learning topics.
LGEC staff members include a range of education professionals and qualified teachers with substantial skill and experience. For the past 30 years, we have worked to promote the positive results and impacts that a global dimension in education can bring.
